On our fourth year in Canada, it's the first time schools are closed because of a snow storm (once schools closed but because of ice, it was not really spectacular). It started snowing during the night and this morning the lack of noise outside immediately made us think it has snowed a lot. I put the radio on and all primary & secondary schools are closed. Fortunately my daughters are living in their college during the week because those are open and they have exams this week. They could not have managed it if they had had to commute.
