At my LUG as I already mentioned, we're doing monthly KDE workshops. We meet on the last Saturday of the month (we're looking for premises but right now we do it where we can, not at my place though as it's a bit too krowded by kids). So last Saturday we met at Luxtin's place in Toulouse at around 10 am. We welcomed a newcomer, Élodie and we started right away setting icecream working. Alexis managed to crash his X thus preventing us the CPU of his nifty laptop. He repaired it quickly though. The focus of the day, apart from compiling KDE4 was also to do some translation work for the soon coming 3.5.8. I explained how translations are done and how to use KBabel and we got to work. It was soon lunch time:
Very geeky indeed. We worked until 6:00pm and Luxtin and Élodie will do more translations. Depending on the needs of people coming we'll probably do some debugging (Quality Tests checking) and maybe some KDE programming in the next sessions. Here Élodie and Jeff trying to get KDE4 to build.

Thanks annma for explaining us so quickly how to make translations with KBabel.
I'm working now on the translation of the Digikam's user guide.
There's a lot of work and since it has to be finished before october the 7th, some help is welcome ;)

Vous aller trouver mon commentaire plutot étrange, car ca n'a absolument rien a voir avec tout ca, mais je suis Karine, l'amie chez qui Deborah est venue sejourner en mai dernier. Je n'ai pas eu de ses nouvelles depuis ce temps et je me demande bien ce qui se passe. Deborah est une personne tres importante pour moi et ça m'attriste beaucoup de ne pas avoir de ses nouvelles.
